Alleged Tinder Conman Pitches Dating Show Project

From swindling Tinder dates to swooning dating hopefuls? Simon Leviev has a new idea to find love in all the wrong (or right?) places.

The 31-year-old conman – real name Shimon Yehuda Hayut, the dubious star of the Netflix documentary, “The Tinder Swindler” – has held the world in shocked awe ever since the doc aired on 2 February, showcasing his romance scam that allegedly conned $10 million from multiple victims across Europe between 2017 and 2019.

Now, Hayut is toying with the idea of starting a dating show after he was banned from a wide variety of dating apps.

Actress/television producer, Gina Rodriguez, shared the revelation via instagram on Thursday, 17 February, by reposting an American tabloid’s video of Hayut offering appearances for $300, as well as revealing his intentions to write a book, host an advice podcast and starring in a dating show.

Rodriguez’s previous works include starring in the 2014 dramedy series, “Jane the Virgin”, and 2018 sci-fi horror, “Annihilation”; she also owns a production company, I Can & I Will Productions, focusing on projects revolving around the Latino community.

Hayut has allegedly signed up with Rodriguez and his next move most certainly will make for captivating entertainment.
